Project Outcomes
- Defined, with supporting market and financial analysis, to deliver three key projects across markets, customers, and products, that will drive top-line growth of 300% in 5 years.
- Established four business improvement projects to help the business scale its operations and work towards a sustained business that is not dependent on the family shareholders.
Our Value
- The initial Strategic Review, based on broad organisation interviews, internal and external data analysis, identified 25+ opportunities and challenges, enabling a complete view of the business and the market.
- We worked together with the Shareholders and management to prioritise the opportunities to agree the top 7 that had the highest impact, with a level of business readiness to execute.
- Provided a clear roadmap to achieving ambitious growth but importantly 5% net profit growth over 5 years.
Top 3 Tips
Clients that propose to develop a 5-year strategy should:
- Invest in an independent assessment of the current strategy, operations, and financial performance. This clearly identifies business challenges and improvement opportunities.
- Actively engage the owners and management in a pragmatic strategy development process.
- Clearly define what success would look like in 3-5 years and how to get there.
